At Jst’Eat, we are dedicated to creating value for both our customers and the communities we serve. We believe in creating social, economic, and environmental value for everyone in our supply chain. Our mission is to establish a fair and sustainable socio-economic system for the farmers who grow these wonderful jackfruits.

In rural India, jackfruit is primarily grown as a backyard food. We are committed to changing this by introducing fair trade practices and creating an organized industry. Additionally, we strive to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the farmers through our sourcing policy, which aims to procure the fruits at fair prices.

We believe in maximizing the value creation from this organic wonder fruit, which is rich in nutrients for both vegan and non-vegan consumers worldwide. To achieve this, we have implemented a zero waste management process, where we peel, wash, and process the fruit to create highly nutritious and value-added products. The waste from this process is used to generate biogas for our boilers, and the residue is given back to the farmers to use as fertilizer for their farming land. This completes the ecological cycle of the food ecosystem, making us a zero waste company.

Our commitment extends beyond creating jackfruit-based superfoods to adhering to safe, eco-friendly, international standards and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for our farmers. At our company, we strive to make a positive impact on the world by producing high-quality products that are not only good for you but good for the planet as well.
